NBC Studio Camera

At school, our musical this winter was My Favorite Year. We just closed; about two weeks ago.
At first, everyone was really unsure about it, since no one had heard of it before. However, we all kept our faith in our director/music director and put all our work into it. It turned out spectacular.
My Favorite Year takes place in New York City, in 1954. Most of it occurs within Studio 6B, the set of the "King Kaiser Comedy Cavalcade", where the main character, Benjy Stone, works as a writer. The set is made up of four famous buildings in New York City - CitiBank, The Empire State Building, 30 Rock, and The Chrysler Building - and various props.
The set is amazing; everything's painted bright colors because the story is told as if you were speaking to an older Benjy, who is recalling everything in a dreamy, almost fantasy-like way. You'll have to trust me (since the picture's pretty bad) when I say the painting on all the buildings is superb; one cast member's father is a professional painter or something, and he helped out a lot.

This is one of the NBC cameras; they are so simple but SO COOL, and they really work!!! One cast member's father has an Engineering degree from Stanford, and he built two of these just for us! They're awesome.
